USD/CHF turns negative
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - USD/CHF has been a good performer against the dollar, falling from 0.9400 territory to below 0.9260 in London and NA markets yesterday, and today finds fresh offers after bids overnight from 0.9260 to 0.9289.
USD/CHF is printing 0.9253 as a low for London right off the open and while there is no data other from the US in the afternoon, the mood is unlikely to resume otherwise. The pair is back to territory where we started the week off from and it is quite possible that the pair will remain steady into the weekend for next weeks play. In the afternoon we will we have housing starts and consumer confidence data from the US.
USD/CHF rejected at key 0.9400 handle
A rapid rejection at the July-August decline at 0.9396 offers the pair a negative bias as only a break here and closes above would allow for a leg up towards the July highs 0.9753. The 20 dma is 0.9291, the 50 dma is 0.9361 and the 200 dma is 0.9353. RSI (9) reads 44.27. The supports are ascending from 0.9175, 0.9191, 0.9218 and 0.9246. Spot is currently 0.9276. Resistances are 0.9313, 0.9329, 0.9344 and 0.9369.
