Canadian building permits drop in July
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The official data released in Canada today showed the building permits in July edged down 0.6% to $7.7 billion in July, following a 15.5% increase in June.
The official report from Statistics Canada shows, “the value of permits for non-residential buildings fell 13.9% to $2.7 billion in July, following a 13.8% advance in June. In the residential sector, the value of permits rose 8.7% to $5.0 billion in July, following a 16.7% increase the previous month.”
