EUR/USD hobbled to new session highs, and stumbled
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/USD reached 1.3826 session high, but the momentum faded away, and the pair stuck in 1.3820 area.
Took a pause around 1.3820
Absence of any interesting catalysts in the market makes the perfect environment for range-bound trading. However, we saw some mild interest to the pair in the morning, and the euro even refreshed the Friday highs, what may be a sign for the further direction of the pair in near term. Remember, the thin trades are dangerous due to lack of liquidity and exaggerated reaction to any kind of event. Thus, if the USD weakness is to continue, we may see the move to initial resistance at 1.3834 followed by 1.3850 if broken.
